<p>i received my letter today and found out that i’m on the waitlist. i have the option of telling them that i will attend if admitted, that i will consider attending if admitted, or i will not consider it. is it binding if i say i will attend? thanks!</p>
<p>I don't see how that can be binding since it presumes that you will have already sent a deposit to some other school. You might note that there seem to be a LOT of kids who were waitlisted, therefore your odds of getting in might be a quite low (I'm guessing here).</p>

<p>Waitlists aren't binding. But I would definitely put a deposit down at a school that has sent an acceptance. You never know how many will get off the waitlist.</p>
