<p>When do they usually hear? I am starting to see people getting off waitlists at other colleges and it isn't even May 1. Should I be worried?</p>
<p>Those schools probably have an incredibly low yield and realize that it's very unlikely that the class will fill up between now and the 1st, so they're trying to get people off the waitlist before the final decision deadline in the hopes that maybe they haven't enrolled anywhere else yet and therefore it makes it more likely that they'll enroll in the waitlisted school. At least, that's my logic. But don't worry about it-- I know people who got off the waitlist as late as AUGUST. Whether or not you'd want to change your school a couple of days before going away (I actually know someone here who did!) or not is up to you, but I have heard of that happening.</p>
