<p>I had a friend tell me today that she was accepted. I know she had been wait listed and I was wondering if wait listed people had been accepted yet. When is the date that Regular Decision people have to accept or decline their offer of admittance, because I would assume that wait list people will only get in once everyone has returned their decision? (I was an Early Decision acceptance).</p>

<p>See, I don't think so. I think the person who told that to me was lying and I wanted to check out what other people had heard. It sounded odd to me, so I looked into it.</p>

<p>yea i really doubt it..., but i did send in my reply card a week earlier, so they could have gotten enough declines... Duke is awesome good luck</p>
<p>Yeah, I don't think that wait-list acceptance has happened yet, either. I originally posted to see if anyone had been accepted that was on the wait-list. Since no one has, this proves my original thought that the girl who told me this to begin with was lying. </p>
<p>We were talking with some people about where we were going to college and I said Duke and she said, "I wish I could afford to go." And I knew she had been wait-listed and I asked if she got in yet. She said yes, but I was almost positive it was because she wanted to impress the people we were speaking with. And, now I know! :)</p>
