<p>I have been waitlisted at my # 1 choice Univ. of Minnesota.</p>
<p>I have expressed my interst via email to my ADCON that I would commit instantly and sent a hand written note of thanks as well.</p>
<p>I have been accepted to Michigan State and Miami University which I am excited about and seriously comparing each.</p>
<p>Any suggestions that anyone can offer that has worked in this type of waitlist at your #1 that resulted in success?</p>

<p>Thank you for your response, I do not want to appeal my waitlist, my ADCON has been very forthcomming during my entire application process.</p>
<p>Why don’t you call the admissions office and let then know you are very interested. I have done so twice this year and both times a senior admissions person called back within 24 hours. (the key is to get past the student who is screening the calls.)</p>
