Waitlisted at Stern

<p>I got waitlisted at stern. My sat is 2180 and gpa was around 3.6. Intended major: finance. What are my chances of getting off the waitlist? Do they rank on the waitlist so that some people have a higher chance of getting off than others? If I do get off the list, how will it affect me housing and financial aid wise?</p>

<p>Please help! Nyu stern is my top choice and I could really use some encouragement :(</p>

<p>I remembe reading on past threads that in the past, NYU has taken a few hundred people off the waitlist so you have a good chance. </p>

<p>You should also follow the waitlist protocol:

  1. send in another letter explaining why you want to attend nyu, specifically stern.
  2. another recommendation. try to get it from your principal, community leader, just not another teacher.
  3. an update of new accomplishments since you submitted your app.</p>

<p>I hope you get off of the waitlist!</p>
