So, to both of the above questions: it doesn’t matter. List whatever you think you might do - what you put there won’t effect your odds of getting taken, and neither will the specific date you send in your form (so long as you get it in on time).

Dan, now that it’s after the May 1st reply date for those who were accepted, can you tell us whether or not Tufts will be going to the wait list this year as of now?

I know of at least one person who got in off the waitlist, though I don’t know when he found out. So they are dipping into the waitlist pool at least somewhat, though I can’t say for sure how many they’ll take

yes, i believe they are using the waitlist. i haven’t heard anything yet (I was waitlisted) though. i hope they don’t notify all of those who were accepted off the waitlist at once. i know many kids found out like may 6. @draekann, did the person you know have truly exceptional stats or did he have stats that a waitlisted student would “normally” expect to have?

I don’t know what his stats were, I only know of him from the Tufts 2016 page =/ I can’t say for sure what “normal” stats are for someone who was waitlisted. I would guess that most people on the waitlist are relatively on par stat wise with those who were accepted, but I don’t work in admissions so I can’t say for sure haha best of luck to you, though!

I’ve been reading this thread for a while now and decided to post: has anyone heard from tufts? Has anyone been taken off the waitlist or “rejected” from it?

@DanAdmiss@Tufts Do I still have chances? I’m international!

Hi. I still have not heard anything. Is Tufts realistically planning to use the wait list more?
