<p>I'm assuming that the answer is a no, but do waitlisted -> accepted students receive any sort of financial aid or scholarships?</p>
<p>I figure they only give money to people who were initially accepted, but it can't hurt to ask :3.</p>
<p>As a recent graduate of UMN from the waitlist, I found that I did not receive any merit-based scholarships, however if you’ve filled out your FAFSA, Minnesota generally provides 100% of need, depending on your family’s expected contribution. I found that my student loans and grants through UMN were great, compared to private loans, as well.</p>
