<p>I think the college says that you have a good chance if you are in the top 10%.</p>
<p>Ex) In a 300 person class, if you are at or below 30th on the waitlist you have a decent chance.</p>
<p>I don’t have an official source, and it could be 5%, but I thought that’s what I’ve heard.</p>

<p>In my experience it is really up in the air. Some classes I’ve had let everyone from the waitlist enroll and vice versa. Go to the professor on the first day of class and ask him/her what the situation for the waitlist is.</p>
