This particular voice department says it has a “small, select, unnumbered” waitlist. Any ideas on how many people this usually means? The number of acceptances are small…about 6 per voice type. Are waitlists typically by voice type (i.e. A soprano declines so they go to the soprano list only)?
Also I spelled woe wrong so that’s embarssing
I like your spelling. I read it as Waitlist Whoa!
I did, too!
It may be voice types, it may be which teacher has studio space. Difficult to wait, but it may shake out. Has your daughter been in direct contact with a particular teacher?
