I wanted to know if I can waive the UCR Health Insurance fee. I have Medi-cal and I live in the Los Angeles County. Thus, if I apply for the waive form, will my Medi-cal be accepted? Has anyone else in my situation successfully waived the form like this?

For your waiver to be accepted, your health insurance plan benefits need to meet or exceed UC SHIP standards. The school doesn’t (not to my knowledge) accept/deny waivers based on who your health insurance is from, but instead, the benefits that you get.
