Wake Interview Importance

Wake isn't very high on my list and I didn't research what the requirements were for application completion, so I was not aware of the interview that was basically required. I didn't have an interview but received an email saying my application was complete.

Can a person still get in even if they do not have an interview?

Don’t interview if you aren’t interested. It’s funny that “Wake isn’t on your list.” I graduated from Wake and made $145k my first year out. But Wake isn’t good enough for you.

@mothersodear: Maybe it just isn’t a good fit for KAH1994. Wake wasn’t one of my top three schools that I wanted to attend, but I ended up here, and I wouldn’t change a thing! You never know what will happen.

@KAH1994: A person can still get in if they did not do an interview; the interview can only serve to help you, though. Either way, if Wake isn’t one of your top schools, I wouldn’t be super concerned. If you are, though, concerned about it, then you can reach out to Wake admissions & see what they have to say about it. Best of luck!

We never even heard about interview options being from the West Coast. Our admissions counselor got my son excited about the school but never mentioned interviews. Does this hurt his chances? He had a 4.03 gpa, 31 ACT and stellar extracurriculars, recos and school honors. Thanks.
