Wondering how far in miles from one end of campus, like McCollum hall to Oglesby Union?
It’s about half a mile and 10 minute walk from McCollum to Oglesby. We walked from the Wescott Fountain on the east side edge of campus to the Fresh Company dining hall (which is near McCollum) in 15 minutes at a leisurely pace. Our tour guide said it’s about twenty minutes from the far east side to the far west side walking.
McCollum to Oglesby is, depending on your speed, about an 8-10 minute walk. It’s not very far at all.
The entire main FSU campus is only about 2 square miles in size: it’s really compact compared to a lot of other universities with similarly sized student bodies.
Thanks
