What's the farthest distance you had to walk to one class?

Hey guys, incoming freshmen here at PSU, and I was just wondering what's the farthest distance you've had to walk around to get to class? I have to walk from the Life Science Building to the Walker Building in 15 min. Is that do-able? I just don't want to running around everywhere, especially on snowy days.

It’s definitely doable, you can probably get there in under 10 minutes if you walk quickly. Sometimes avoiding Pollock Road altogether and taking some back ways (i.e. in front of Old Main) is a little faster.

I spent majority of my last four semesters going from the Hammond Building (Engineering, right on college ave) to the Business Building, and then back again. You can get any where on campus in 15 minutes if you plan it right. Also, get to know the bus routes and schedules, they will save you when you’re in a pinch, or on those rainy and snowy days.

The campus itself was made to traverse end to end in 15 minutes. It is entirely up to the student about what and where their classes will be scheduled. Keep in mind that the campus itself is very bike friendly. Also, all major sidewalks are heated in that the hot water piping runs under them so you don’t have to worry about ice covering your walk way. Lastly, there is public transportation running around. There are 4 main buses that operate on campus: Two loops and two links. The two loops run along curtin and downtown while the links run on curtin. During the fall and spring they run about 5-7 minutes inbetween each stop, however they do get somewhat packed in the winter time.
