How far of a walk would Earhart be from the Lawson Computer Science building? Also, are all CS courses in that building? Earhart has a majority of the CS students, but Wiley would be closer to the other buildings and the CoRec. Would it be better to dorm in Wiley? Is the lack of air-conditioning in Wiley that noticeable?
It’s about a 10-15 at the most minute walk from Earhart to Lawson. I used to walk Lawson to Earhart all the time, and I’m pretty sure it was about a 10 minute walk. I’m not sure if all CS courses are there, but if you go to https://selfservice.mypurdue.purdue.edu/prod/bwckschd.p_disp_dyn_sched? and look up classes in the CS department for the coming semester, you can see for yourself. Earhart isn’t exactly far from the corec, so it isn’t that big of a deal.
