Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and yea, I'm Canadian. I took the PSAT and got a Selection Index score of 183, which I considered pretty awful. The only good news is that I barely prepared. My math was 69, my CR and Writing were 56 and 58. I took a diagnostic SAT practice test today and got 1930 (give or take 30 or so points for the Essay portion...I gave myself a 10 lol, a 9 would've been 1920).

My individual scores:
Math - 670!
CR - 610!!!
Writing - 650

CR: I need to significantly boost my CR mark. My vocabulary sucks, so I struggle on any Sentence completion of level 4 or 5 questions and even some level 3 ones. So, what should I do, I mean in terms of what resource should I use to boost this mark? I hear the Baron's flash cards or something is helpful? Any suggestions. Also, I do reasonably well on the Passages, if the passage is not boring or way too dull. The one's that are a little entertaining to read, I get 1 or 2 wrong out of around 12 q's.

Math: My strong point. I have no clue why I keep making dumb mistakes. What book or tips can I use to get my Math to around 750+? I feel that my Math score should be the one that boost's my overall score, so I need help.

Writing: I do well on sentence corrections(replacing sentence parts with better ones), make some errors on things that require knowledge or grammar rules, etc. I have basically done nothing in term of learning grammar rules and such and I got the 650, so I feel that if I learn a lot of rules and whatever I need, I should be able to improve a lot. So, what books, materials, resources are helpful with this section. I need help particularly with the identifying sentence errors as it confused me at times.

Thanks a lot in advance. I appreciate any and all help. I am really hoping to get my score to 2100+. My parents are going to be moving to the US in a year or so I am not even considering Canadian universities. Thus, this SAT means a lot to me, since I have a high average at my school, but if I do crap on the SAT (IMO <2100, this by no means is meant to be offensive, this is what I expect for myself) then my grades will look inflated and my curriculum will look like crap. And as an intern'l student, I want to be extremely competitive and want to get accepted to my top choices for various reasons (lower international tuition, close to family, good rep., etc.)
