I have been working at Kumon since I was 14 and I have had an internship at UMKC school of medicine.
I also have gotten an academic letter and am fluent in 4 languages.

I want to get into either Cornell or John Hopkins or even any of the ivies , but NYU, Duke and Stanford are also in my mind. Please tell me how I can get into this college easily.
Thanks!

We can’t properly chance you without test scores, but given your lack of extra curricular activities and leadership positions, I would say that all those schools are reaches, except for NYU.

@AppleBoyFreak How many extracurriculars do I need? Do the internship and the clubs not count? I know I need more leadership positions, but I can’t really apply for those till this year.

When you say you like the rest of the ivies, you are saying you like VERY different schools. You should get a reality check and besides applying to all the ivies, NYU, and Stanford, apply to schools that fit your GPA, your unknown sat, and what you really want In a college besides the name. Sorry I sound so harsh, but this post needed a reality check!

Your schedule for the rest of high school looks solid. Work on raising your GPA, although it’s already good. As everyone has said, it’s hard to chance you without your test scores and it is still early to have leadership positions. A way to really bolster your EC’s is to start something yourself. Start a charity, run some sort of food or clothing drive, make it annual. Or start a website, invite your friends to write on it. Just do something that makes yourself stand out and shows you’re driven and a leader. You still have so much time to start something that could really be attractive to colleges. Honor societies aren’t enough, in fact they’re pretty boring to admissions reps. So you need leadership positions. Get almost all A’s and good test scores and you’ll be competitive at most Ivies. Stand out and you’ll be really competitive. It’s still early and I don’t see how your extra curriculars are scattered so don’t worry about that.

The only other point that someone has made on this thread that’s worth further consideration is that all the Ivies are different and you may not want to apply to all. People who would apply to Princeton, Dartmouth, or Cornell probably wouldn’t find Brown appealing. On the other hand, a lot of people who like Brown also like Yale, and Columbia. Just make sure to do research but it’s really not a big deal at this point because nobody knows exactly where they want to apply until closer to application time.

Instead of doing so many activities at once, try to focus on a few, depending on your major. I think it’s a reach for the Ivys (what are your sat/act scores?) and a high math for NYU and JHU.

What’s the Kay Club? You mentioned it twice. You should explain how it differs from the Key Club, the service organization that many students join. Otherwise an adcom will assume you don’t know better.
