hm.... if snow "roughs up" leather boots... what material should my boots be? they dont get roughed up TOO badly though? i really like to pet these these boots, they're so smooth.

well, as I ranted earlier in this thread, dont bother with Uggs.
A) You will look like (and be) a poser, and
B) They'll be completely ruined by winter's end

Get a decent pair of winter boots. Dispense with that style crap, and get something functional. None of those pink fuzzy ones. I dont own this particular pair, but it illustrates well what I would recommend you look for:

If you are really concerned about it, there is a wax-sealant type thing you can buy at most sporting-goods stores, that you smear on and rub into the leather, and it makes it waterproof and protects it from just about everything. You probably dont need that though, but if you are the rugged type and plan on perhaps wearing them for a hike in the fall, or whatever, well, its only a couple bucks extra.

...and I think this has been waaaaay too involved a response to the question, but hey... ^_^

omg anarchy those boots are ugly. i gotta find a nice pair of boots. not uggs. and not those lumberjack boots anarchy just showed lol. im a GIRL.

ahhahaha thanks anarchy, and i totally agree melo. i would hate to wear those every day, esp since they're so high.
