So are there any other Warren freshman that are confused about college?
Every other college except Sixth has had their orientation. All my friends that have attended their orientation can't stop talking about classes/units/dorm etc. As a Warren student I don't know anything except orientation date and deadlines for fin aid and dorms.
They keep mentioning picking classes In late august but warren and sixth orientation is late september. What exactly is going to go down for warren freshman and picking classes.
Also, I accepted my fin aid awards and the deadline was 17th. I mailed Perkins promissory note, but forgot about two online forms that require 3 contacts you know. Do those have deadlines?

You select your classes online. An academic advisor will send you their recommendations for classes to take but I would also advise looking at your 4-year plan to help you decide because you’ll have a lot of options on what to take and you can help yourself plan to take certain classes when you want them.

Unlike some colleges that have freshman chose their classes at orientation, UCSD has you register online in August. You should go onto your TrtionLink- WebReg and see when your registration time is. Then at that time you will register for you classes. A lot of freshman/ transfers have asked, “if I click on the class does that mean I’m actually in it?” and yes, once you click on the class you are registered. (This might seem obvious but people ask). Like Kings said look at your 4 year plan/ recommended classes. Also use ClassPlanner to make a schedule. I would make a couple of schedules because it will be difficult to get all the classes you want.

Definitely visit this website: https://newstudent.ucsd.edu

It will guide you through a lot of helpful information and you will also be able to see course recommendations. I think around this time you can also ask questions to the academic counselors online.

Also try to go on the facebook warren page for your year. When I was an entering freshmen it helped me a ton because everyone pretty much had the same questions.
