I got accepted into Warren but now they want to transfer me to Marshall. I was wondering which one has the easier GE's? I'm not really a math or science person so I want to choose the college that would suit my skills more. I'm a International Studies major right now but I'm probably going to change it to another social science.

Warren supposedly has the second easiest GE’s after Muir – but the Warren Writing is pretty hard from what I heard.

Warren and Marshall are similar enough with their GEs. You’ll be fine.

I’m a social science major in Marshall…GEs are super easy.

i’m a freshman at warren, bio sci major.
finished first two main segments of warren writing, they’re bearable-about a b-c average, with one or two a’s in each class.

warren has earl’s (open till 1) right outside our dorms literally. CV is bearable, although you may end up going to foodworx (over at sixth, just a short walk… like walking to Price center) more often. Also, i’ve been to Marshall’s dorms, and honestly i think our res halls are much nicer. First they look newer and our general “campus” over here is less packed and more lax.

Marshall does have OVT, one of the nicer places on campus to eat at (food and general aesthetics). They’re somewhat closer to most of the lecture halls, but after a while you end up walking everywhere from warren without complaining… unless its 8am in york(revelle).

also, i don’t know how you plan to go about switching colleges. from what i’ve heard-its nearly impossible.

You have got to be kidding.

If UCSD emailed you that and said that they switched you into Marshall, you can still stay in Warren if you’d like. I got the same email and all I did was send them an email and give them a call.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I’ve e-mailed them back and asked to stay in Warren.
