I am a high school senior with a 3.27 gpa with a wide variety of extracurricular activies, i had a 1110 on the SAT and a 27 on the ACT. I was denied by UCR but want to know if i even had a chance at being accepted. Still waiting on other Uc’s hopefully they’re not all rejections
Of course you had a chance, but so much is dependent upon the competitiveness of your fellow applicants. Which UC’s are you still waiting for? Do you have any safety schools on your list? Any other school acceptances?
UC’s above all are very GPA focused, so if your GPA is below the averages, your chances decrease significantly. If you have some extenuating circumstances that affected your academic performance, then your chances can increase. Also intended major can factor heavily in your admission chances. The more competitive the major, the more competitive your stats need to be.
