Was it worth it?

Was it worth going to a CC for 2 years. Only to transfer and take 2.5 or 3 years to finish a degree? Very few chance of getting aid at transfer school of choice?

Leaving your friends you made to only have to start the whole process making friends over again.

Not having credits transfer.

Still ending up graduating with debts and maybe few job prospects?

Maybe I am just being cynical.

*NOTE I am second semester CC freshman. These concerns are just stuff I have read happening to people.

I was curious on lives of people after transferring from a CC and was it worth it starting at CC?

  1. your aid depends on your “needs.”
  2. that process happen no matter where you go.
  3. depend on the CC you go to and the school you applying to. Also depend on classes as well.
  1. I am talking about merit aid and need based aid usually not enough to cover costs unless you go to a private school even then noting is for certain.
  2. Most start at a CC because they wanted to save money. Ending up still acquiring debts kinda defeates the purpose of saving money.
  3. I guess this is true. My major is engineering I noticed that no matter where I will apply it will take me more than 2 years to graduate and get my bachelors degree.
