So much drama! It comes down to the fact that you can’t produce a single bit of evidence in support of your prejudices. It’s okay with me, really. But your puerile insults don’t help your case any.

Although you do not appear to have realized it, I have done you a tremendous service in this thread, in this relatively quiet corner of CC. Not only by attempting to steer you toward the use of objective data in support of your arguments, but also to alert you to the very real possibility that your “Tulane-O-Matic” machine is stuck in overdrive. Tulane’s a fine school and I bet it would be a fun place to attend college. And New Orleans has more character than just about any other five U.S. cities combined. You do both a disservice through–shall we say–overvigilance. Good Lord! ■■■■■■■■ the forums of any and all other American colleges on this site in search of remarks about Tulane that you consider inadequately deferential. In the end, by ‘protesting too much’ you have invited a natural suspicion on my part and, the record shows, that of many others.

The other extreme partisans I’ve encountered on this site, as I mentioned before, are the WUSTL crew. Absolutely rabid! And I have no idea why: their school (unlike Tulane) actually *is *highly ranked. So one has to wonder about WUSTL too.

It’s all like some big political food fight. As one with no personal axe to grind, I find it all very amusing.
