@patrickjf44 @FirstToRise good for you guys if you only applied because the school has no supplements, but there’s no need to say something in such a condescending tone on a washu applicants thread… believe it or not, a lot of us actually applied because we like the school and would be really excited to attend. so take that negativity somewhere else.
Wash U is actually one of my top choices so check yourself. It’s a bonus that there are no supplements and with today’s application methods it is very easy to submit to a school that doesn’t require much extra work. I also never said that was the reason I applied, however a lot of people applied there for that reason.
@FirstToRise Oh I know what you mean. When you said “you and everyone else” it just sounded like that was also the only reason you applied. Sorry I misinterpreted your post, it’s just annoying to see so many people bashing WashU on this website.

@nathancard I was told by my counselor, who spoke with our rep last week, that decisions would come out on the 13th at the earliest, the 15th at the latest. I, like everyone else, do not claim to know that definitively, and I can promise that I wouldn’t make something like that up. I’m surprised (like you) that they didn’t come out today, but they will. Hopefully this week, and if not, they’ll be out by April 1- like the university says.
Checked my email and found an acceptance letter from Skidmore College. I guess I’ve been waiting for the wrong school…
I only have set dates from three schools out of a lot, so far. I think I am going to watch some Disney movies or read to distract me. And I can imagine that is why so many people applied @bssurly so many people I know applied because of that. WASHU is one of my top choices.
