I haven't visited the school yet but I am pretty sure I am going. Have you guys seen the campus? Is it nice? I really don't like schools where the city and campus are interwoven. I kind of like the secluded-feel. Any info. will be great. =)

The campus is beautiful! It's a closed campus, so no roads go through, and it's just academic buildings. I think it's nice to have everything all together, and the dorms in a cluster on the corner of campus. Directly surrounding the campus are residential neighborhoods and a large park (Forest Park), but just a short walk away are bars, restaurants, shops, etc. The campus is as pretty as in all the brochures they send :) If you want pictures, let me know!

Wash U's campus is one of the nicest I have ever seen! The academic buildings (as well as Brookings) on the main campus are gorgeous - many look like castles. The South 40 area is really nice as well.

The campus and the city are definitely separate, and I think it helps give the university a more 'community-like' atmosphere. Downtown St Louis is definitely accessible but isn't close enough to merge too much with Wash U's campus life I think.
