I'm applying for 07' SP at WASHU and I just wanted to ask if anybody attended it and what was your experience like...pp cool?, profs/curic. cool? and do you think it raised your chances for acceptance?...and also is applications for this prog. competitive?

I think it will increase your chances of getting accepted IF you do well in the program. If not, then you just wasted 7K for nothing. For me, I chose to take summer courses at a local university. It was competitive and challenging at the same time. And Yea, I only spent 2K for five classes.

I did it last summer and it was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. If you want to go to WashU, it would be a great time to see how much you like campus and the atmosphere. Although most of my classes were taught by grad students.

I don't know if it helps you get in though. I got all As and was waitlisted, along with a lot of my other friends who did the program.

well i did it last summer and i had a blast. Not only was it a great academic experience, but i got to meet people from all across the country. It gives you some insight on college life and if you are some what interested in WashU, this will help make your decision if it is right for you. Some of the classes are challenging but tutoring is available. All the staff is really welcoming and will make sure that you are doing fine. If you have any other questions, just post them and i will be glad to answer them.

I am applying for the SUmmer Scholars program as well! (Well, I already have to avoid the app. fee.) I can only go if I get enough financial aid though...
