which of these schools is the best for premed?
which is the easiest to get the highest gpa?
how is the campus life in these schools? i heard john hopkins is really competive gpa-wise?
thanks!

I think they’re all very very good but Johns Hopkins is especially well-known for their pre-med/med school. It’s probably most competitive there from what I’ve heard, but also amazing. I love WashU though!! and there’s a great premed program as well :D. I don’t know much about Duke but everyone I know who goes there loves it and it’s obviously a really great school as well. You can’t go wrong here! Of these 3, WashU is the only one I applied to so sorry I can’t be of more help!

Have you visited all of them? They’re all so different in terms of location/campus/types of people that I would not be surprised if one stood out for you.

none of them are easy to get a high GPA.

thank you very much!
i was wondering how washu campus life is?
and does everyone always worry bout their gpa?
sorry to bother u bout gpa but my high school for gpa crazy so i want to go somewhere ppl r a relaxed
thanks!

People (of course not everyone, but most people) at any top x school. It’s how they got there in the first place.

All three have strong pre-med programs. The difference lies in where you feel like you fit most. This means visiting schools is usually a good idea in helping you make your decision.

If you would like to know more about WashU premed, I wrote a thread a while back that might be helpful: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/wustl-2014/882472-washu-premeds-questions-answers-3.html

I’m currently an MD/PhD student; I had a wonderful time as a WashU premed. If you would like to know more about my experience, feel free to PM me.

zenith is right - it’s all about fit.

These three were my top 3 schools (not for premed though), and I got into all 3 schools. When you visit them, you can clearly tell that there’s a different atmosphere at each, and WashU just happened to be the right fit for me (and I’m 100% happy with my decision, a few years later).
