which of these schools is the best for premed?
which is the easiest to get the highest gpa?
how is the campus life in these schools? i heard john hopkins is really competive gpa-wise?
thanks!

I chose between WashU, Duke, and Hopkins and am incredibly happy at WashU. They’re all great schools with great medical schools and premed programs, but I felt most at home when I visited WashU. I have definitely heard a lot of stories about Hopkins being cutthroat and much less laid-back, but I don’t want to make those claims as I’m not a student there. You shouldn’t be looking for what school is going to be the “easiest to get the highest gpa”- all four are going to be challenging. Also, medical schools and grad schools- from what I’m told- don’t really look for people with the highest gpa’s as much as a challenging coursework, research experience, leadership, internships, MCAT/GRE scores, etc.
Good luck deciding! Feel free to message me if you want a more detailed response on the specific reasons I chose WashU over Duke and Hopkins.

pick duke…

Ugh, it’s so hard to NOT interpret OP’s question as “I want the best school where I can do the least amount of work to get a high gpa”

^No, that’s pretty much how I interpreted it too.

Duke sounds like a winner.
