Waterloo Nanoengineering Bachelors?

Hey,

I've just heard from another guy that in U of Waterloo they offer a bachelors in Nano engineering or nanotechnology. If any of u guys have heard about this and know some specifics, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx :)

Yes, Bachelor’s degree in Nanotechnology Engineering, started in 2004. It’s a fully accredited engineering program, available in only co-op mode (like all Waterloo engineering programs, alternating work and study). It’s also one of the most competitive engineering programs for admission at Waterloo.

Is there going to be a Master’s Degree for nano at waterloo as well?

Yes, it already exists. [Graduate Studies Calendar | University of Waterloo](http://gradcalendar.uwaterloo.ca/page/CHEMENG-MASc-Nanotechnology)

It’s offered through different departments, depending on your specific research interests. A lot of the research is affiliated with a nanotechnology institute [Welcome | Waterloo Institute of Nanotechnology](http://www.nano.uwaterloo.ca/)

Hey thanx Sapper!
