Just because falling asleep while needing to work is THE symptom of junioritis haha...

So besides coffee, what are your other ways for staying awake?

I'll start - for me, it's either a very very short nap, like 10 min, and i'd feel less tired. umm mint helps. sometimes music do too but i listen to music when i slep so sometimes it makes it worse lol

Yeah, this is a pretty defining symptom of senioritis too!
I was just trying to get through Machiavelli's The Prince for my Euro class when I turned on some music and got on CC! I'm awake!
Yet... not doing my work. lol.

i have an office right next to my bedroom, and i sleep 2 floors away from the rest of my family. my bed is a mere 10 ft away sooooo, i listen to upbeat music and will play with my cats once in a while.

baelor -- well good for you! i would say that would be the best solution but unfortunately that's not the case for me...with 4 APs, and i know like a ton of ppl who take more so yeah hahahha

I split my sleep or sleep more during the afternoon.. getting around 6 hours and it's not really that bad. I can stay awake.

Coffee helps me in the morning, and then I'll splash my face with water, or try to talk to a friend so much during class, try to laugh, lol.
Laughter keeps me attentive.

It is the best solution, with 6 APs (my school offers no AP classes per se, so the classes didn't cover everything taught on the tests). I still manage to find the time for all my ECs.

If anyone I know complains about the fact that they get no sleep, I ask how they spend their time. Guess what? It's wasted.

I had a teacher in middle school who said to put a strong rubber band around your hand and snap the rubber band couple times once in a while. The pain would keep you awake... Yeah, if anyone wants to try that one.

If you have to get up at 6 am, make sure you go to bed by 10:30. And stick to the same sleep schedule EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, even on weekends. You'll be much more rested.

For me, just resting for a few minutes does the trick. I set my alarm clock just in case I go to sleep, but I usually don't and I rest for about 15-30 mins (depending on how much time I have). It helps a lot.
