If you're thinking I'm trying to raise my self esteem, I'm not. Considering all my friends have 1500's and are considering the same exact schools I am I'm trying to find out if I really stand a chance. I'm in a difficult position right now, in more ways than just scholastically, so take it easy.

I was at UCB - my SAT-1 was 1300
the formula to get in is just so complicate, but your chance is good !
Yes it is a great school and I hope you get in.

How do you get a 780 on the SAT I math, but only a 640 on the SAT2 Math ic? Your GPA and SAT I are good, but UCs, especially cal and ucla are big on numbers, and your sat2s are not that impressive compared to the rest of the kids who will get in. I would say that if you played your cards right, you could get in. You seem to be borderline, so they might actually read your essay, make them good.
