<p>Hey guys, I'd appreciate it if you could spend a few moments rating my chances at the UC's. I am in state, btw.</p>

<p>Exams
-1440 SAT1(780M, 660V)
-640 Math1c SAT2(will retake)
-640 Biology SAT2
-580 Writing(Ugh, bad day, will retake)</p>

<p>Clubs
-Red Cross Club and member(2)
-Make a Wish Club(2)

-Improv Club(4)
-Robotics Club(1)
-Key Club(1)</p>

<p>Volunteering and Miscellaneous
-160 hours with UCLA Medical Center Volunteering Program(Research with chief pathologist[basically shadowing]) over two summers
-School Honor Roll(4)
-Golden State Award in Algebra
-CSF(3)
-Scholar Athlete(4)
-Model UN(1)
-Peer Tutor - 25 hours(probably will add more this year)
-School Ping Pong Champion
-"California Distinguished School"</p>

<p>-Top 25% out of 570 students
-3.9 UC GPA</p>

<p>Only a 1440? Only 160 Hours? Sorry, but Berkeley only accepts students with above 1450 and with AT LEAST 175 hours. Simply unacceptable.</p>

<p>If you're thinking I'm trying to raise my self esteem, I'm not. Considering all my friends have 1500's and are considering the same exact schools I am I'm trying to find out if I really stand a chance. I'm in a difficult position right now, in more ways than just scholastically, so take it easy.</p>

<p>I was at UCB - my SAT-1 was 1300
the formula to get in is just so complicate, but your chance is good !
Yes it is a great school and I hope you get in.</p>

<p>Your SAT2s need to be higher for CAL. Don't trip though. Indian Club... disguisting.</p>

<p>take the IIC instead. a 600 math2 looks better than a 640 Math1, i reckon.</p>

<p>How do you get a 780 on the SAT I math, but only a 640 on the SAT2 Math ic? Your GPA and SAT I are good, but UCs, especially cal and ucla are big on numbers, and your sat2s are not that impressive compared to the rest of the kids who will get in. I would say that if you played your cards right, you could get in. You seem to be borderline, so they might actually read your essay, make them good.</p>
