Got off the phone with a USC person to ask about mid-year grades. While I was at it, I asked about the mid-year grades and that is what she told me. So...I guess they're working late? I must have misheard "evening".

? huh
so they’re making all the decisions by tonight…???
err…

They damn well better. We’re all sick of waiting anxiously for nothing.

Lucky Girl,
SC does not have rolling admissions. It states on the website applicants will hear by April 1st. Here is the exact phrase from the Freshman Profile, “April 1 Admission notification date”.
Some seniors have already received admission packets, but the university still has hundreds yet to mail before the April 1st date.

The [Daily Trojan article](http://www.dailytrojan.com/news/usc-plans-to-adjust-acceptance-rate-in-wake-of-economic-downturn-1.1627362) states that USC will admit up to 24% of 35,600 applicants, or 8544 total.

But there are only hundreds yet to mail? I’d like to hear about thousands.

You know they’ve already accepted some people right? lol They probably already have some acceptances and not mailed them either also.

So by hundreds, the adcoms probably mean they really are down to the final couple hundreds of applications.

squadus
i think JW Muller is trying to say that he/she hopes for MORE than hundreds because it gives those of us who havent received an acceptance a greater chance of getting one
well
thats why IM hoping
correct me if im wrong :)

oh! Sorry, I misread. ^.^

Yeah, hopefully they’ve only sent out a portion of acceptances. Thousands more to go!

yes please.
