Yeah, it's under the options...I am stealthy like that. ;)

"Any of us are fortunate to have the opportunity to have a myraid of great UC campuses to attend and for a fraction of the cost of a private school."

i really wish the rest of the elitists on CC would understand this.

oh yea, my cousin is in that early admit program at cal state LA. she wouldve been a senior this year, but she is now a junior in college and is almost finished with her pre-med stuff. she'll be in med school before i graduate from college. crazy!

But not all of them are as lucky as because some of them don't live in California, so they can't really reap the benefits of the super cost effective excellent educational opportunities that UC offers.

That is such a cool program, but I guess it doesn't matter for me anyway. I am going to transfer from a CC and receive my AA at seventeen.

Yeah, by "any of us" I meant any Californian. If you are outside of Cali, get your own state school..these are mine. ;)

Yeah, but you really can't compare other state schools with UC. Like my friend said, almost any company is going to be more likely to hire you if you said I attended UCXX, then almost any state school (there are exceptions) in another state. And, we have UCB and UCLA, two of the absolute best public schools in the country.

Exilo:

No, not special classes. I took The American Novel with Professor Wortham (ENG-85; an AWESOME English professor) with about 150+ UClA students and I also took World Politics (PS 20) with Professor D'Lugo, another excellent teacher. The poli sci class was close to 300 UCLA students.

You can take UCLA Summer Classes as a high school student or through Summer Discovery at UCLA, with I participated in.

Yes, UCLA's campus is unbelievable. Trees and lush plants everywhere not to mention GREAT weather.

Social life at UCLA is excellent too. I went to movie premieres in Westwood, walked around at The Grove in the Fairfax District, and just has good ole fun. I'm in the same boat...except not med school, but law school. We humanities/social sciences guys have it hard to :)
