"We require no additional info..."

My app status has yet to change from the "We require no additional information" one since late january and i have submitted my midyear grades. Is this the same with anyone else? Has anyone's changed since receiving that status?

Mine hasn’t changed. One more month to wait…

I was accepted in late January and my status still says the same as yours. It means nothing really. If you’re accepted, you’ll get a large packet in the mail. No emails/status changes.

Thanks for clearing this up. I’ve been checking everyday hoping it will change.

I thought some people’s statuses changed to “Forwarded” or “Sent for review”?

Some changed and some didn’t. But even the ones that did say “Forwarded to committee for review” only lasted for very short amounts of time before reverting to the “we require no additional info…”

For instance, mine never changed to “Forwarded,” but I was still accepted. As I said before, the statuses do NOT reveal any admissions. You will get your acceptance or rejection in the mail.

Mine went from “We have received your application, and it appears we require no additional information at this time. We will be reviewing applications through the month of March, and we expect to be able to meet our commitment to notify freshmen by April 1st. We often like to see the mid-year grades of freshman applicants. If you have not already done so, please submit your final, fall term marks when they become available. You may submit them at USConnect by clicking “mid-year grade reports”, or by visiting www.usc.edu/midyeargrades. Sometimes, in the course of our review of applications, we find that we need additional information. In such cases we will mail a written request. If you receive a request for more information, please respond promptly.”

To a shorter status that directly asks for my senior year mid-year report. And then it changed back to the status above the day after I submitted my report.
