<p>Are the winters about the same or is winter in Saratoga Springs much harsher?</p>
<p>i’m sure you can look this up statistically but speaking as one who lived in NYS for sixteen years, there is really no difference between the two.</p>
<p>Difference is negligible; possibly a bit colder and marginally more snow in Saratoga, but really isn’t enough difference to make it an issue.</p>
<p>Saratoga Springs will be colder in winter and get more snow than Poughkeepsie. Other than that, climate differences are minimal:</p>
