<p>right now the forecast is for very hot weather with chance of rain… that may change BUT be prepared with lots of water. todays heat index is 104. rain often just makes things steamier not cooler. keep an eye on al.com for forecasts</p>

<p>light clothes, water, gatorade etc should be loaded in those cars too… the school may also have people handing out drinks (no idea) but stay hydrated</p>

<p>we are about 2 hours away (straight shot down a highway) so pm if anyone needs anything and we can see if can help throughout the year. son going to UAB so he could scoot over to help if needed</p>

<p>well, since it’s going to be so warm and all, Ive changed my mind. DS can stay home with me… is there such a thing as “home-schooling” for college? ;)</p>

<p>S informed us the forecast for Friday was thunderstorms. Just back from Denver with thunderstorms but we 87 degrees and humid is different than 104 and humid. My S was telling his aunt it’s like trying to breath with water in your lungs.</p>
