Where can I find out which classes are being webcasted for this spring semester? I have two core classes whose lectures happen at the exact same time, and there's only ONE lecture for the entire course...maybe if one of the classes was webcasted, I wouldn't have to go to it?

No? No one? :(

If it’s a core class, isn’t there a chance that it was webcasted in the past semester and perhaps you can use that as your resource…?

isn’t it a bad idea to have two different classes at the same time, despite being webcasted? what if both classes give a midterm during lecture on the same day?

Actually, arguably the biggest problem is the final exams are going to be on the same time slot.
In case some people didn’t know, the final exam schedule is depended by the lecture times. That’s why your TuTh 3:30-5:00 class had the last final exam and MWF 10:00-11:00 had the first final exam block.

A bit more comprehensive proof:

@UpMagic: Yeah, I just checked and they’re the same exam group Ugh, both of these classes are offered only in the spring and I can’t afford to wait an entire year for one of them

Unless you ask the professor and explain your situation and if you can take the exam at another time.
