The Winston Churchill question was in the last section (Writing) in the identifying sentence errors. It was near the end, in the mid-30’s I believe.

The error in the Churchill question was “respectively.”

What letter was the answer choice “the independence of American energy was important regardless of whether it helps the environment”?

Was it letter choice ‘D’?

Please help! Thanks :)

@juliwang I don’t know what math question you’re talking about but I remember the all the choices you listed & I picked 110. ANYBODY ELSE???

@StudiousMaximus
Can you re-construct the sentence and explain why that was the error? I only remember that it was about his book about WWII being respectively received by critics initially, but later being looked upon as less sound historically (or something to that effect). Thanks!

@ARDink
The sentence tries to use the word ‘respectively’ when it should have used ‘respectfully’. Respectively makes no sense in context, so it’s incorrect.

Yes @ studious we have a deal :D

Does anybody remember 110 for an answer on the math section???

naw, I remember a 100,108 or 130 though

Can someone please describe the bar graph??? That has an answer of 6? Because I can’t remember it at all…

Also, does anybody remember the parabola graph on the math section?

@chartreusefox

Ah, of course. Oh well. Thanks anyway.

Are you guys all sure about the terracotta question? I remember it ended in “,no two of which are exactly alike.” Wouldn’t that function as a independent clause be cause two would be the subject and are would be the verb? And considering that what came before the comma was also an independent clause, the comma would be splicing the sentence and that would be the error? Thanks guys!

@smarty Yea, the answer was (1,3) which I believe was C.

Alright I’m going to estimate that I got

CR: -2
M: -4 (omitted 2 and know for sure I got at least one wrong)
W: -2

I don’t recall coming across any questions for CR or W on this thread that I got wrong for certain, but I wouldn’t put it past myself to make a couple of mistakes and not remember

Does anyone remember the actual question for the variable, K? What about the water level one? Did it go something like “540 + 120 -120 + 40 + 70 +80 what was the water level compared to in 2000?” And on the parabola, did you just have to eyeball it? I think I saw the parabola extend way more to the left of the y axis in contrast to how much it extended to the right, I think put (1,3) There wasnt a (2,3) answer was there?

I didn’t trust myself to eyeball the parabola and I couldn’t remember the mathematical way to do it so I just left it blank :P

The variable K had to with money I think…

If only I could know the K question, I can’t remember it at all. Making me nervioso!

Someone correct me if I’m wrong in any part of this.

The K question was about an annual club membership. It said that K was a constant in the equation y= 100(t+k), and t represents time in years. Then it said for 2 years, the cost is $500. So you figure out that K=3. The question asked how much 3 years of membership would cost. 100(3+3)=$600.
