Weighted GPA Importance

In my Sophomore year I will have 2 classes which the first semester is regular, but the second semester is Pre-AP, which means their Unweighted GPA will be 4 and Weighted will be 4.5.
These are my only classes like this.
Is it worth it to try to squeeze in another 2 AP credits to raise the Weighted GPA, or is Unweighted more important?

Most colleges only look at unnweighted GPA. Weighted GPA is mostly for your high school’s ranking purposes, which is another consideration that colleges look at.
