Hi! I've been really worried about this for some reason, but my school uses a 4.3 scale for GPA. In that scale, my GPA is about a 4.06, and will probably go lower. However, if you look at my GPA on a 4.0 scale, it's 3.95.

I feel like my 4.0 scale GPA looks much better than the 4.3 scale one. Which one will more elite colleges look at?

They’ll look at whatever your HS provides. There are about 5 billion GPA scales out there. Don’t worry – they can handle them all. It’s their job to do so.

They generally will look at your grades and your course rigor - effectively this works out to your unweighted and take into account course rigor.
