i don’t get it. what time do we have to be there and what time does it end? is it just an open thing where we go whenever we want?? i feel dumb asking this but i’m lost

It's an open thing. http://admissions.ucdavis.edu/welcome/april15.cfm

It's totally an open thing. It depends on what talks you wanna hear, or if you just want to do the tours and the like (: I'd get there early though, it's going to be really busy!

If it's "open," does it mean that we can go to the freshman session (for example) anytime we'd like and listen, or does it start and end at a specific time?

you need to basically sign up and grab some "tickets" that are handed out at the ARC center (you dont need to reserve anything). these tickets run out fast so the earlier you arrive, the earlier you can tour! i came there around 11:00 and the only slots left were during the 2:30 and the 3:30 tours. my friends and i decided to just follow a tour guide because some of us had to go to church by 6 back in san jose for good friday >_>.

I'm driving there from San Jose... have to wake up early then.

jas0n - Do you mean a campus tour, or a tour that includes all the activities? Sorry, don't really know how this works either. :P

i just took a campus tour and two housing tours. just walking around and watching the population was so awesome! i'm still very sad i got rejected...and i am confused why also =.
