I have a question, if we didnt make a reservation for the Open House thing, are we still able to attend? Are they really that strict on whether you have a ticket or not?

I have the same question. My son really just wants to go to the engineering tour. I read somewhere on the website that you have to have tickets for the tours. I’m not sure we should drive for two hours if we really might not be able to get into the tour.

My son and I signed up. You need a confirmation ticket to check in. I didn’t see anything in the agenda requiring you to spend the entire day at UCD. Registration is from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. We live 35 mins from Davis and are going to head out at 8:30 am. We’ll listen to the Chancellor’s welcome, hear some speeches, and do the housing tour. We already did a campus walking tour. We’ll probably leave around noon.

I’m curious about this as well. I wasnt sure if I would be able to get to Davis from visiting SoCal in time, but it seems like I can. I dont think they would be that strict as to ban you outright though- that comes from uci’s discover day, which we dropped into w/o rsvping.
