<p>So it’s about that time and you guys are starting orientation… so let me be the 295th person to welcome you to campus!</p>

<p>And, of course, some shameless plugs… go to the Activities Fair on Saturday, and make sure to stop by the Cooking House table! I won’t be there, but you might find some yummy homemade goodies, plus you can find out when our events are.</p>

<p>And if you’re interested in liberal politics of any stripe, make sure to get yourself on the Brown Democrats email list (by visiting them at the activities fair). There will be a lot going on this semester, as Rhode Island has a very important senate race coming up as well as a recent Brown grad running for city council in Prov!</p>

<p>And if you sing, try out for chorus! It’s a great group and auditions are superchill (unlike a cappella rush).</p>

<p>I think they might have something about voter registration in the registrar's office. I registered to vote in RI when someone set up a table on the main green.</p>
