I do have a question- how does lofting the beds work? Are the "loft" or whatever part of the bed.

I do have a question- how does lofting the beds work? Are the "loft" or whatever part of the bed.

Yes, the loft is part of the bed - the bed itself is put up high so things can fit underneath. Typically lofted beds are usually in triples with a bunk bed on the other side. Good luck.

if you loft the bed, do you use a bed skirt to hide the stuff under the bed?

Not sure about LC, but at RH, some beds are “lofted” but only about a foot extra, so you can skirt it if you want. If LC is the same, you can put a heck of alot under the raised beds

We are wondering about putting a desk under the bed- its a quad in hughes

From what I saw last year kids don’t seem to use bed skirts because they want easy access to the stuff under the bed. Lofted beds I saw were too high for a bedskirt. Also, the dorms I saw in Hughes had two bunk beds but maybe some rooms are arranged differently. The Hughes rooms are very big.
