I'm currently working out my AP schedule for this year and next. I've never taken APs before (never bee offered at my school, and just being able to fit in self-studying now). I'm very interested in history and government so I am looking forward to taking the AP tests focusing in those areas.

My question is, does a balance of AP subjects look better?
Would it be more beneficial to take
1. AP Euro, APUSH, AP World, AP Government (showing my passions),
or
2. AP Euro, AP French, AP Chemistry, AP something else (showing well-roundedness)

What are other people's opinions? What have people done in the past?

well rounded... i think if you want to show your passions try taking the subject tests in like us history, or european history, or something like that.

AP class wise, I believe it is better to be well rounded. However, if you followed your passion on TOP of that, it would be an even bigger plus.

So if you don't plan on overloading yourself, go with a broad range of AP classes and show your passion in other ways.

^I think that's pretty well-rounded. You have history, math, and science. And if your school only offers five APs (or something), you're definitely good to go.

uh oh. I've taken 9 APs with this year, and not a single science. 4 social studies (1 history), 3 math (Calc AB, Calc BC, Stats), and 2 languages. Would you say this is well rounded?

PS: my school offers all AP sciences except Physics C

if u rele like history related but want to seems well rounded why dont u think about AP euro, AP World, Calc AP (b/c), and Chem AP. if u like history overall taking whap and euro allow you to have a rele great experience and learn about a wide variety of cultures, while ap calc and chem show u have not neglected math/science and would show more well-roundedness.
