<p>My S was always on someone’s floor-not ideal for studying if there were too many visits.</p>

<p>As a team member now, he did get “asked” to host last year as a freshman. The coach does assign prospies to athletes he thinks will make appropriate hosts, for the most part.</p>

<p>Also did “unofficial” d3 visits-watched practices, given meal tickets and a patch of floor or a couch…</p>

<p>I know for a fact that one girl on an OV to my D’s school last fall was bounced because she got drunk on the OV. why risk it. BTW, you can get bounced by some coaches for breaking high school rules, such as athletes who get kicked-off their hs team for drinking their senior year.</p>

<p>Yes, indeed, there are SO many ways to blow a bright future…</p>

<p>Actually, girl did fine (actually amazing) with where she landed. Lucky. She’s top tier in her program. Not likely it would happen to an “average” athlete.</p>

<p>And then we can talk about being rescinded! But first, get those acceptances!</p>
