Wes 2014 Prospies

Some other schools have theirs up already. I can't be the only one here who wants to talk about why Wesleyan rocks.
I just visited Wes today. Before the visit, it was a last-minute addition to my list, a minor consideration. Now, it's my first choice.
I won't apply ED because of financial considerations. Otherwise I'd consider it.

Before my visit to Wesleyan, I wasn’t even going to apply. I felt like I had no chance until I talked to an admissions counselor when I went there. I was just visiting because I live fifteen minutes away. Now, I’m applying ED.

what’s so captivating?

I just went there today, it was AMAZING.

Everything about the campus is great. Good dorms, awesome athletic facility, top-notch dining, and a great town with a great Main street.

I’d love to go to Wesleyan, but I feel like I have little to no chance of getting in. I love the College of Letters. What did the admissions counselor say that was so convincing to make you apply?

imsolidmatter: you can’t get in if you don’t apply!

^ Exactly. If you’re interested in getting in, apply. At worst, you’ll be out $50, and have a rejection letter to tear up or whatever. And if you apply, you might just get in. If you don’t apply, you’ll never know. :3

Well, before I visited, I knew my grades were lower than the average at Wesleyan and my gpa wasn’t that impressive. I didn’t really apply myself until last year. I had kind of given up, but I talked to Mr. Pyke and he gave me some hope. Now I’m applying because he made me think I actually have a chance. And I guess you never do know until you apply, so why not try?
