Hey guys!
So I'm planning on signing up for a single next year, and I definitely know I want to live in West Circle, but I don't know which dorm yet. I've been in Mayo, and its nice but I don't know what the rest look like...
I mean sure I could go visit but... haha
so any opinions?

It kinda depends on what atmosphere you want. Yakeley is alright but is all-girls. Gilchrist is more underclassmen. Williams hall residents don’t have to purchase meal plans (all upperclassmen). Mayo I’d say is the top choice for returning students in West circle because it fills up quickest.

I lived in West Circle (Williams) for two years, and I LOVED it. Since it is all upperclassmen it’s generally pretty quiet but it also fills up quickly, so if you want to live there, sign up ASAP. I had a single and my room was huge, bigger than my bedroom at home (but room sizes do vary, depending on where your room is- 3rd floor rooms are smaller because of the slope of the roof, etc.) My friends and I are all music majors, so I’ve had friends in all of the West Circle dorms and spent quite a bit of time hanging out there- Mayo is nice too, but fills up because it was just renovated. Campbell (from personal experience) seems to be full of partiers and people that don’t like to study, so I would avoid it if possible. Yakeley is ok, but can be kind of- I don’t know- annoying and sorority-like since its all girls. Gilchrist and Landon have a nice mix of people, it seems. Overall, though, I like how West Circle feels small- everytime I went to the caf there was someone i knew. And, of course, it’s really pretty lol.
