West Point and Naval Academy Summer Seminar

Hey everyone, thanks for reading! I have recently applied to both West Point's Summer Leadership Seminar as well as the Naval Academy's. I would love to get anyone's opinion on both seminars. I was wondering how you guys think I would stack up in the admissions process. Here are some of my stats:

I have not yet taken my ACT or SAT, so my PSAT scores are the only ones I had to give them. I am not very happy with them, and I am taken the SAT this Saturday. I know it takes a few weeks to receive my scores back, do you think the Admissions Offices at both academies will still allow me to send them those scores to include with my application? I'm really worried my scores will prevent me from being accepted.

Please share any opinions or advice you have for me.

Thank you!!

I would get some better scores before sending in your application, but you also need to hurry because the slots are filling up at all the academies pretty quickly. I would send a letter or email to the admissions office at each school and ask them the same question. They will be happy to help.

You have to send in your scores PSAT and/or ACT/SAT’s at the time you submit the application for the USNA Summer Seminar and you can’t update those once you apply. The process for applying to the academy is far more extensive then for Summer Seminar. Typically, you apply to the academy between your junior and senior years of high school, not clear from your post what year you are. Consult their official website for more details on the application process and the timing for each.
