<p>First of all, I do not consider myself a “party animal”. I definitely like to drink and have a good time, but I am not a “party animal”. Yes, you will find people to “just hang out with” anywhere on campus. What I’m saying is if you want to maximize all possible avenues of fun, Markley wins. It just comes with the nature of Markley being virtually 100% freshmen. Dorm selection is random – it’s not like they preselect people who like to party when they’re choosing who will live in Markley. But, since you will find the most freshmen in this dorm (w/o having to hop on a 20 minute bus ride), you will have the most options of people with which to associate/hang out/party/do whatever you like. I have particularly been mentioning drinking/partying in this thread because that is what a lot of freshmen aim to do once they get to college. Markley provides the capacity to have the best social experience as a freshman.</p>
<p>I reiterate: I lived in WQ as a freshman and spent a fair amount of time in Markley w/ friends. Markley > WQ</p>
