Im passionate about people. Connecting with them, Working with them , helping improve them. I am ofttem that friend people come to for advice and helping them in anything they need. Im a very persuasive person and know how to talk to people, im energetic, organized, assertive and funny. I always make people smile which makes me feel like i l’ve done something. I dont let my situation and home issues get in the way of what i want, even thought at times its very challenging. I also looooove food and art. Also talking. I love talking because i have alot to say and im a very curious. Im still working on other things around my school. I havent taken the act or sat yet but im studying this summer for them. Also im doing my volunteer hours as well. Please let me know what you think and again thank you for listening.

Your uwGPA is quite low. That would hurt your chance at UMich.

You have 4 B’s, 3 C’s, and a D through two years of high school, how can your weighted gpa be a 4.3? Is your school on a 5.0 system instead of a 4.0? In any event, many of the schools on your list (especially Wharton and U Chicago) at this point. You’ll need an incredible junior year and very solid test scores to have any kid of a shot. Also, your EC’s are not particularly strong for most of these schools. It does not take much to join track and field and some clubs. I would set your sights lower to schools that are a better match for you or you might be quite disappointed come senior year. In any event, I wish you the best of luck.

Btw, colleges are going to largely ignore your A+'s in health, gym, art and culinary.

@ Falcon1 -4.3 was my gpa at the end up of freshman year , i dont know what it is now afer sophomore year becuase we havent gotten all our credits yet for them. But thank you for the advice.

Yeah sorry Fruittree, but i will have to agree with Falcon 1, having Cs and Ds sophomore year is not very good. Frankly, if your grades are similar to this for junior year you’d have no shot at any of these schools. You need to show extreme improvement. Remember, many of the kids that apply to these ivy and top schools have straight As and A+, and you need to be able to compete with those kids.

Maybe you should consider some other schools as well.
